Faith, age 55, died in Red Deer, AB, on Monday, April 4, 2011.
Faith was born on December 24, 1955, in Cape Spear, New Brunswick, a fisherman’s daughter number eight of twelve children. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at a Jimmy Swaggart crusade and then in the summer of 1975 attended Faith Haven Bible Training Center. In her third year she met Ernie and they were married a week after graduation June 2, 1979. They began their life together as a young family being united with Faith’s four year old daughter Tammy and soon to be accompanied by Nadine and Charissa. We then embarked on various adventures to Texas, Costa Rica, Mexico, and numerous locations in Canada in pursuit of the Spanish language and fulfillment of various missionary endeavors.
As the years passed the company increased as eight grandchildren were added. It was when Faith joined Ernie’s older sister Evelyn on mission trips to India that she knew her purpose. She became focused on the task at hand with Gospel of Christ Outreach being formed, which became a central theme of her life.
Faith is survived by her husband Ernie, her daughters Tammy, Nadine and Charissa, and grandchildren Janssy, Shayane, Yovani, Ariel, Keagan, Kallyna, Kaylon, and Komya.
